The parish appreciates a further donation yowards Church Roof Repairs of £100. We thank the donors for their support. Every donation is greatly valued.
During the summer weeks, major repairs were carried out on the church roof and windows. Repairs to the roof cost £3164 and will propably be on-going since its repacement is fanancially impossible. Some of the upper windows were completely smashed and many were so seriously cracked that they had to be replaced . This damage was caused by vandalism. The window repairs cost £1056. While repairs to the church building are not very obvious, it is important tp preserve the fabric as best we can.
